It's a challenge for Australia to set fresh records.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

This is the unit that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, targeted by the record chasers, are all that remain for a side that has won it all.

That it took as late as Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the largest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over five decades.

It's challenging for their batters to maintain a record if not afforded the chance.

Finally, the outcome of Australia conceding 330 was leader Alyssa Healy receiving a platform to create her latest masterpiece.

Initially recognized as the young family member of renowned former Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she made her debut in 2010 after her country failed to win either of the T20 or ODI World Cups conducted earlier and has witnessed all through 15 successful years since.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the belief to achieve that now," continued Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it again but, if necessary, we believe we can achieve it."

Those words will be the last Australia's opponents at this World Cup want to hear.

During the last week a feeling they will win from any position has become more firm - this success succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.

During that phase they were eliminated from last year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - a match Healy missed because of damaged tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the initial instance at a major tournament.

Such is her determination, she afterwards commented she wished she had played with the discomfort.
